Dolphin Tails Swimming Instructor

Dolphin Tails Swimming School is a growing and well-established swim school delivering high-quality swimming lessons for children across Sussex. We are currently recruiting qualified Swimming Instructors / Swimming Teachers to join our friendly and professional team.

This role includes delivering school curriculum swimming, after-school swimming lessons, and school holiday crash courses.

Job Type

Full-time and Part-time positions available.

Locations

Lessons are currently delivered across multiple sites including:

• Hangleton

• Southwick

• Shoreham

Pay

Very competitive hourly rate (dependent on qualifications and experience).

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality swimming lessons to children of varying ages and abilities

• Teach structured lessons following swim school programmes

• Ensure the safety and wellbeing of all swimmers at all times

• Provide constructive feedback to swimmers and parents where appropriate

• Maintain a professional and positive learning environment

Essential Qualifications

• STA Swimming Teacher qualification or Swim England (ASA) Swimming Teacher qualification

• Current Water Safety qualification, NARSTAC or NPLQ (or willingness to obtain)

Skills & Experience

• Experience teaching children to swim preferred

• Excellent communication and organisational skills

• Reliable, enthusiastic, and passionate about swimming education

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
